A 21^st Century God. HE TEXTS!!

We 21^st centurians have risen to the heights of our own code language. LOL = Laugh Out Loud; IDK = I don’t know; ROTFL = Rolling on the Floor Laughing; Colon + Dash + Right Side Parenthesis = Smiley Face J. Others, I still don’t have a clue without asking a 12 year old.

Bombarded with messages and communication that happens at lightning speed, before long even our best friends can fall to the bottom of our text lists and neglected a response until the next text we receive says, “Did you get my last text?”

Your inbox might be crammed but your heart might feel empty. Your cell phone might be fully charged yet your heart might be drained.

Here’s a Twitter for you: there is a LIFE giving text, a restoring and refreshing text and that is the Holy Text from God to me. To you. He speaks and creation occurs. Poof. Out of nothingness. He says, “Let there be light and there was light.” He creates by His Word.

This Winter, God will be texting. What will He say? He can be my first response or fall to the bottom of the list of other incoming texts. I want His Name to be in all CAPS so when He sends His Word, it says GOD. I want my eyes and ears to see His Name and His Word as priority to read and respond.
